Bijurei

Bijurei is the Taiwanese Tea Salon designed by SPIN design studio. (You can visit the official web site of SPIN to see their other works.  They're really beautiful.)

At Bijurei, you can enjoy various Asian fusion menu with Taiwanese Tea in stylish and comfortable atmosphere.  The examples of food menu are Dan Dan Pho which is fusion of Chinese Dan Dan Mian and Vietnamese Pho, An-Nin Bavarois which is fusion of Chinese and French dessert, Maccha Tiramisu which is fusion of Japanese green tea and Italian dessert.

They also have a plenty of alcohol menu.  They serve lots of original cocktails made with Taiwanese tea.  You can visit Bijurei at any occasions; Lunch, Tea break, Dinner, and Drinking.

nanaha: Green Tea Cafe

There are lots of cafes in Jiyugaoka.  You have no difficulties to find one to rest your tired feet.  But isn't it silly to spend your time in Italian or French style cafes when you're visiting Japan? 

Jiyugaoka has several green tea cafes where you can enjoy various green tea things in casual atmosphere.

nanaha is one of my favorite cafe; with modern, stylish interior, discreetly selected tea sets, and good tea.  They serve various green tea (hot & cold), green tea latte with toppings, adzuki-bean sweets, and even green tea parfait!

And their another specialty is Kyo-fu (means Kyoto style) Udon.  You may even feel the spirit of ZEN for its harmony of smooth Udon noodle with simple clear soup.
